For all of you buggynews members, just a reminder were starting to plan for the anual NE meet! (NE means North East)

Now if your more south and still want to come, you can make the pilgramage up here! More the merrier. Dont run off to that lame SE meet tongue

Last year's NE meet was a hoot! Met alot of great people there, and my manco came in 4 out of like 7 or 8 on the 2 mile course! ran a time if 12:30sec flat. Fastest was a GX150 (yerf) that ran a 11:49 from NC.

Anywho, were looking to make the 2nd NE meet bigger and better! There werent to many people there, because some had to pull out. Random reasons like (i got a new dog im alergic to) or (just couldnt make the date)

The NE meet is held at rausch creek offroad park in Joliett PA. Boarders Tower city. It happend on aug 18, 19 and 20th. Very rugged terrain, so you better have suspension! Admission was like 10 bucks, had a caterd dinner (wasnt there crybaby

) and Night drags (wasnt there either bandhead

)

So anyone who is interested in coming, speak up. Remember, you have to be a buggynews.com resident, or come with someone who is. And i'd highly suggest if you have a non suspension kart, do not come! I bounced my balls off in the manco! oy vey bandhead

Specail thanks to tom (kidinme) who made it all happen for us, and did a great job making the NE meet and the sign's ! It was fun running over his cones for the course though.

Also a specail thanks to DJfriz's girl for taking that awesome pic of me on the trail! Luckly there sunl was out of the way of the trail, because that strip was very unsuspecting.

To awnser future questions: The blue buggy isnt Suprbeans, its a standerd TJ i beat back to camp in a race! The dog We had to bring or she'd crapped on the rug at home. I broke my axle guard at the jumps from rolling backwards on a log bandhead

My manco was very dirty and that was right behind our camp. Thats all the pics i got, and its gonna be a while for the movie still. Im still looking for the tape. I think its at my PA house on the dresser next to the clock lol

There out in yander now. This happend last aug. All i rember is that a Roketa 800 ran 10min, Yerf dog 3206 ran 11 min, then a talon ran alittle after that, then me at 12:30, then a TJ 250 at 13:38 and then a few DNF's.

I found examples of most of these on the internet.
It appears that some larger karts were slower, despite having more powerful engines, as one might expect.

I realize there are many factors.
