Yep you read it right, out of the box... 50mph. (Mfg says 50-55mph) but I'd be happy at the 50 mark considering my paws haven't tweaked it yet.
BOMB (Better Off Modified Baby!) it and who knows? This is Kinroads latest 250cc rocket and we have it onsite, if the snow melts some I plan on a test drive this weekend!

I Love the look of this kart, and at that price, wow, time to do some financial restructuring, and make room in the barn.

Dont be angry when you dont hit 50mph, because you cant. That is a super rare mark, and the rocket isnt "to much" of a rocket, more like a bazooka missle. Long story short, my blade could outrun it for the most part.

If you dont believe me, just know it is a fact that a modded 250 will be beaten by a modded 150. Blister on BN has had this experience from owning a super modded blade XT and a friggin super modded TJ limited 150.

Also, the plastic parts tend to crack alittle from vibration, so mabey cover that in warranty?

Its a shame you wont sell TJ's. There 250's have Hi and Lo, and there 150's have adjustable steering wheels, speakers, speedo (along with 250) and are more tweaked outa the factory. (Hotter cam, performance exhaust)

But all and all, im glad you got SOME buggy company up, hopefully we can work out the whole blade thing, you'd like the XT better angel4

I believe this one is the higher end kart. There is a yellow (bright yellow) thats nearly the same without all the bodywork thats looking good. I honestly dont understand why in the world some models come with a cigarrette lighter! lol I drove one of these similar at the lawn and garden expo in Louisille Ky a year ago. You talk about some ponies! Its got some gitty up! Smooth driving and acceleration.I was actually able to kick it up on two wheels a couple times in there driving area they had set up.

I've hit 50 in my Twister. Of course I was running down a long hill on a paved road but it's still quite a rush.

I'd have my doubt's about getting it up on 2 wheels though. Mabey a skip at most.

These models were only sold in europe, i guess they started shipping them to the US now.

[update]
Just got off the phone with the US rep...

I requestioned the factory rep again on the speed? (mainly b/c of Offy's concerns) He said that this is there brand new model that will hit that easily, they have deemed it a "racer" (their words b/c of it). He also said don't be fooled by past 250cc models, this is supposed to be a high output version combined with the "racer" setup or mechanics ...funny the Chinese simply call a fast model a "racer" model, hehe.

The hood is a Super ABF plastic, same material wheelbarrow shells are now made from. You can swing a hammer at it and the hammer will bounce off. But as anything I'm sure it can break.

It looks really, really sweet!!! I (as said) hope to take it out this weekend if the snow melts down some... right now as of this writing it is snowing again (good for my ski doo-ing however!)

hey Manco_man? ...Don't worry, I'm still pro American made stuff.

Blah blah

Ive heard from people who own these that the plastic will spider crack around the screws they are mounted on. And when you do get a test drive, take a video or picture of it doing 50mph on flat flat surface. And climb a steep hill at the same time.

blah blah?

is just jealousy. New models should be better than the past models especially with so many changes that are happening (we are really on the tip of a big evolution and major standards to be had in this industry). If this wasn't faster than your older Blade model then something would be wrong. The same 1500 employees make this new model that made your older Blade model. Don't worry you can upgrade some day :)

I'm sure a new model of a Blade would have one up on this as well (see.. I'm a neutral party!). Plus I like my snowmobiling, nothing can give me that rush so these are truely backseat thrill rides for me (not my primary) and I don't have to show favor to what I own.

So anybody reading this and wondering whats fastest, safest, best etc..., here's an all out purchasing fact- (think of it like computers)
"You think you have the best but as soon as you close your eyes and go to sleep... bamm, it's been made better, safer, faster etc." (didn't I say to think of it as a computer?) I've been selling powered ride on toys for almost 20 years... been that way forever, always will be (this is why I upgrade at least 1 of my sleds every year!)

So this buggy is the latest 250cc out of China (till you go to sleep tonight ;)

**UPDATE**
After writing the above (must of been good luck) we have sold out our initial 6 models. I had 2 as of this morning but 1 went online the other out the store. I had 2 reports back from customers so far. One was an avid motorcross guy (I'm thinking he should be creditable) and he says the thing "absolutely rocks". I asked him about the speed but he didn't know numbers yet but assured me that I would love it (hmmm? maybe old user: KJ (site admin) may have to bring one home on the next batch?)
Bad news? my next shpmnt is going to cost me about $100 more a buggy so I had to raise the price :( 100.00

ork... say something nice for a change. reaching speeds of 50+ should not be a problem. My kart does 47 out of the box, without mods. And as user: KJ (site admin) states everthing is always changing for the better, it's just good busness.

coming from mr. who made my kart and what engine does it have angel4

I see i cant fight without proof, so here is some. (Keep in mind, 250's are geared lower and have heavy butt rollers which isnt good for climbing, but for speed, which is why some can and some cant hit 50.)

If this doesnt prove my point, nothing will.

And another thing, If you look under the body panels, you notice that is the same frame AS MY BLADE! Kinroad puts 250cc engines in frames that are the same as the kinroad sahara 150cc. Hence the sahara 250. All they did was put plastic on it and call it a new buggy.

XT's and TJ's have IRS, this has swingarm with solid axle. XT's have 18gram rollers and aluminum performance exhaust, TJ's have performance aluminum exhaust and a HI/LO transmission.

Kinroad has body panels and some dress up parts.

Double checkmate old bean tongue
