| Ay guess i was wondering if anybody knows about the 6.5 hp engines made by central machinery from harbor freight. AT only $130 brand new very tempting to buy.

| Won't last long. Chinese engines suck. A buddy of mine bought one off Ebay, got about 6 hours out of it. We tore it apart, and the cylinder had wallowed out. The piston didn't have a scratch on it.
Some people are like a slinky....
Not good for much, but watching one tumble down stairs makes you smile. |

My cousin bought one for his yard kart, turned the governor way up, and so far he must have 100 hours on it, just balls out riding and it still cranks on 1-2 pulls and doesnt smoke or knock. He paid 129.95+ tax at HF for it. These particular ones are made by Lifan.
They have a whole racing series across the nation devoted to these engines. They buy them, put on a pipe and silencer, hi-flow air filter, and pull the governor. They spin 5500rpms+ and failures are rare, generally user error such as running too little oil, or not changing oil.
Honda GX-200 parts swap in..crank, rods, cams, heads, pistons/rings, valves...it's all the same size. In fact so far it seems that the Clones have a nicer crank journal finish than the Genuine Hondas. |

| I have one in my yard kart and it kicks hard!! tons of tork no stalling ever starts first or second pull they are very reliable get one you wont be disappointed!
