Floresm, welcome to GKRU. First question i have is has the kart been sitting? If so read this Thread

Second question is does that machine have a CDI? If it does then read this Thread

and if still you can't get it going come back , I'm sure someone can assist you with your problem. Good Luck!

Anyone know how to trouble shoot a crossfire 150r go kart. Turns over but
does not start. Was running fine but stopped on its own. I have tried the
old fashion way of checking the coil by removing the plug while still attached
to wiring harness to see if a spark is present when the motor is turned over
by trying to start the kart. I did not see any sparks. Any ideas on what a
technician would look for? Yes, the cart has gas, yes the cart has a new spark
plug, yes the gas filter is clean, yes the inline gas filter in tank is clean.

First check continuity on the two coil wires. If good move to the cdi. Id say thats the fix.Your cdi will produce your fire for the coil.(or tell it to fire)

Thanks for the replies regarding the crossfire 150r.
If the go cart won't start How can the Continuity be checked? What is done?
Next, check the CDI, see if it went bad those karts have the CDI Electronic ignition.
How do I check the CDI without having to order a new one?
How do I check the coil to see if this is not the problem?
Can you provide troubleshooting tips, before I go and order parts
on something I may not need.
