Crossfire 150 carb fix

Postby martybalardi » Wed Dec 29, 2010 11:28 pm

I have 2 crossfire 150s. Have been sitting for 6 months. I cleaned the carb and the jet pilot is clean as a whistle. Spark ignites and engine will try and turn over. Sometimes will run with starting fluid but I have to accelerate to keep it running. Seems like gas isn't getting into the carb or engine. Thoughts??

How is the valve clearance? have they been adjusted? The carburator could also be going bad? it's all a matter of elimination. You could try here and maybe one of the tips could help.
