Cleaning house (part 123)

Postby KJ » Mon Sep 10, 2007 9:57 am

Hey all...
I'm thinking of cleaning (deleting) all members with no activity within ____ months. I was thinking something like 24mos. (2 years). This will get our member count to a more realistic figure. I know many sites like to pad this so it sounds good but we are pretty down to earth here so why not clean up our act?

Tell me what you think before I get out the chainsaw

If it were me, I would hold off on the axeing until we get more everyday posters. At least it gives new members the idea that we have some type of traffic....

oh, and light a fire under OFFY so he will fix our myspace... :banghead:

Might I suggest a mass email to all registered members, directing them to the NEW MEMBERS page, where we will put a topic for a "member sign in".

Maybe offer 10 Kash bucks to all who post in that thread?

Maybe a good idea!
I got to get the smtp bug fixed 1st. It's server hardware related issue (in Chicago) otherwise I would have it already fixed! :)
