so when i measure bolts i measure its shank diameter

and when i measure nuts i just use the socket that fits it best and use the chart that way

On bolts your measuring the diameter of the threads.Nuts will also be threads but the parts of the threads closed to the outside.

what your saying is that on the rocker arm nuts you measure the threads and use that on the chart

The rocker arm nuts your taking about are on the end where the valve is right? The measurement on the bolt is opposite of the nuts. when you screw the bolt in the nut the outside of the bolt is the same size as the outer most threads in the nut.

Measure the nuts threads and go off the chart with the pattern I already described. These nuts hold the cam holder and cylinder head down correct?

Being that those nuts hold everything on I would go with maybe 15 or so. I think my four wheeler was much more than that but it's 460cc. Do you know anything about this nut torque BlackScorpion?Either way 15 wouldn't be extremely loose.

First make sure you spin the crank the correct way. Yes it's ok because the oil allows the correct torque to be applied with out the thread resistance. If you think it's the starter pull it off and recheck.

Yeah it's definitely the starter

But could it be making that noise because it's not designed to go backwards

Right

ok so i have put it all together and it runs

but the carburetor is letting to much gas in and i dont know how to fix that

and oil is leaking from in between the piston cylinder and the valve cylinder at the bottom

i dont know y

could it be because the bolts on the left side of the cylinders are only torqued to like 5 to 8 pounds do they need to be tighter

also if you could get back to me that would be great
