Ken-bar began as backyard industry to build
trampolines in 1975. With Kenneth Alexander
as owner and president, we now have grown
to become one of the largest go-kart manufacturer
in the nation.
Ken-bar in 1995 purchased
and relocated to
146,000 square foot facility
in Baldwin,
Ga. We also have 23 acres
of land for testing
our karts and Utility Vehicles.
At this facility, Ken-bar
can build up to
30,000 karts annually.
manufactures twenty
models of karts and two
models of Utility
vehicles. Kart horsepower
rang from 4 to
9hp. Single and double
seat models, Different
colors, red, yellow, lime
green, black, and
purple.
The two utility vehicles
are 13 and 17 horsepower,
manual and hydrostatic
drive on the 17 hp,
also has a hydraulic dump
bed, with a high
and low range transmission
and a locking
differential.
Innovations and safety
are a part of the
Ken-bar's manufacturing
process. All of the
karts built have brush
bars, seat belts,
training video and helmet.
On August 21, 2004 Ken-bar
marked its 30th
year in business. Old fashioned
hard work
and determination have
made it possible for
us to grow to where we
are now. In recent
years the demand for karts
has grown. Each
year we develop new models
to keep the of
karts our customers need
to sell. This year
we will design and build
three to four suspension
models.
