We have had this unit approx 1 year. We have found the gears are extremely hard to change. We have also had to replace the bearings and lower belt. The first week we drove it a tension spring from the top pulleys came off and we had a time getting Dad going again. I wouldn't recommend it for an older person (over 55) due to the gears. It seems to be jerky not a smooth transition at all in the trans. Otherwise a very good ride all over the property vehicle. The kids love to ride.
